A sand timer-shaped glass coffee maker that has been made since 1941. It comes with a server as a single unit, tied together with a string in a wooden color. The specially designed thick paper filters out oil and fines well, allowing for a clear taste. Made of borosilicate glass, it prevents odors from transferring.

- Dose
- 1 level tablespoon per 5oz (about 150ml)
- Temp
- off the boil, after the bubbling settles
- Grind

- 01Wet the bed and bloom for about 30 seconds.
- 02Pour slowly so the water never reaches the rim.
- 03Add the rest in a circle or a back-and-forth motion.
- Dose is given in tablespoons, not grams. Strength is left to taste.
