- Dose
- 10–12 g per serving
- Water
- 120 mL per serving
- Grind
- medium-fine
- 01Warm the glass pot and set the dripper.
- 02Fold the paper filter along the seams and place it in the cone.
- 03Add medium-fine grounds for the number of servings and shake lightly to level. 10–12 g is normally good for one serving (120 mL).
- 04Take the boiling water off the heat and wait for it to settle.
- 05Pour slowly from the centre outward in a circular motion to moisten the bed. Wait about 30 seconds.
- 06Continue pouring the same way. Do not pour onto the paper.
- 07Remove the dripper before serving. Hold the silicone band — the glass will be hot.
- Use HARIO V60 paper filter 02.
- Freshly ground coffee is recommended. Adjust the dose to taste.
- The Japan product page does not reprint these steps. They are from HARIO's VDD-02 instruction manual shipped with the set.
